The Pool Maintenance Checklist of the Proud Pool Owner
Pool maintenance is a continuous process, with
tasks for each week during the period while your pool is used. The easiest thing to do is have monthly maintenance tasks preformed by reputable pool cleaning service Plano TX techs.
Until then, here is a
checklist with what you need to do:
-
Skimming – ideally, you should
grab your skimmer net and remove the dirt and debris from the surface of your
pool water every day. The task is especially important if you have trees and
shrubs surrounding the pool;
-
Brush the walls and the bottom
of the pool – the wall and the bottom of any pool can get quickly covered in
algae and other sediments that could ruin your entire pool. Fortunately, the
grime is easy to remove – with the pool brush;
-
Vacuum your pool – when you
brush your pool, the debris removed from its surface sink down to the bottom. Pool
vacuums are manual or robotic devices that are used for solving that problem.
You can either buy your own appliance or you can rent one from a local pool
service;
-
Get the water quality checked
regularly – check the pH level of the water and make sure that the necessary
chemicals are added to the water in the right concentration. You can use your
own testing kit or take a sample of your water to a specialized lab to find out
what you need to add.
